BS1139 standard of metal scaffolding, is a long-standing, widely-used and universal standard throughout the world. Material grade S235GT longitudinally welded steel pipe with an outer diameter of 48.3mm, and it is hot-dipped galvanized inside and outside surface. According to the BS EN ISO test method, the chemical composition of carbon (C), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), nitrogen (N) and other content are analyzed. The physical and mechanical properties of steel pipes are tested as: tensile strength, yield and elongation. Using scaffold steel pipes that meet the BS1139 standard is a good choice that can effectively reduce the probability of scaffolding accidents caused by material quality problems.
